This is a photo i created using a pin hole camera. It was taken in the Suffolk College atrium, it managed to pick it up particually at the bottom of the photo.
We were set the task of creating a pin hole camera using some kind of box or tin, it had to be light proof and we painted the inside layers all black to prevent light. We placed a suitable size peice of photo paper inside opposite the lence to capture an image.
A pin hole camera has a lens, shutter and Aperture.
Aperture - The hole/opening through which light travels. Measured in increments called F.Stops.
Lens - Captures the light and brings it to a focus on the film/detector.
Shutter - The device that allows light to pass for a certain period of time to expose photographic film and light. Senisitive electronic sensor to light to capture a permanent image of a scene.
Alex your pinhole work lacks any real depth, effort or understanding. Your images don't really demonstrate the principles of pinhole photography as the quality is so poor. More determination on the day might have helped you - as this lack of effort has proved costly in terms of these posts.
